We're a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, 4-part-harmony a capella women singers worldwide. We provide entertainment for public and private events in the Gainesville area--just ask! Singers are enthusiastically welcomed to Thursday rehearsals 7-9:30 pm at Covenant Church, 3115 NW 16th Blvd. We are the Gainesville chapter of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide organization of female 4-part-harmony a capella singers. We meet Thursdays 7-9:30 pm at Covenant Church, 3115 NW 16th Blvd. We provide entertainment for local civic organizations, churches, residences, senior living facilities, and at events such as naturalization ceremonies and charitable benefits. Our co-leaders are mother and daughter duo Diane Sherley and Chanda Morris. Last year the chorus nominated Diane for the Spirit of Gainesville Award in recognition of her long and devoted contributions to the local music scene. The chorus is very proud to have won medals again at the Sweet Adelines Internation Region 9 annual competition in Daytona Beach in April 2012.
